Dry point of backyard in Florence, made by Joseph J. Visser

Drypoint made by Joseph J. Visser
when staying in Florence in 1984 at the The Dutch University Institute for Art History in Florence.
During walks in and around Florence, Fiesole, Siena etc., and on longer - moreoften camping trips - a substantial body of work (dry point and lino cut) was made directly on the spot or (based on sketches) made later in the atelier in Italy or the Netherlands. These stays (1962, 1983, 1984, and 1986) were of great influence on his composing. A later stay in Urbino would have the same impact.
