ON HUMAN FRAILTY
De tentoonstelling in de Yovorov
Bibliotheek in Burgas,
Bulgarije (de Kunstafdeling van de Regionale
Bibliotheek) als opening van de Nationale Culturele Feestweken
voor de Heilige Cirillus en Methodius.
Het sluitstuk van een Europese kunst/werk-reis
die begon in York in Engeland.
Tijdens deze reis werden enkele concerten gegeven
en presentaties van het werk van Joop Visser georganiseerd. Tegelijkertijd
werden vele bevriende kunstenaars bezocht in verband met de projecten
die Joseph J. Visser met hen onderhanden heeft (zoals 'COASTS
dat in 2008 afloopt) en tentoonstellingen die hij voor hen organiseert
in het 'Grafisch Kabinet' van het Fries Grafisch museum te Joure.

Peyo Yavorov (January 1, 1878 October 17, 1914),
born Peyo Totev Kracholov, was a Bulgarian poet, considered to
be one of the finest poetic talents of the turn of the century
in Bulgaria.

as the
opening exhibition of the libraries'
National
Festival for Cyril and Methodius
The larger
prints in this exhibition are all related (a developement from,
or rather a more personal in-depth psychological study) to the
artist's-book with the story of Emer and Fand, made in Mai 2006
and presented in the Gutenberg Museum that year.
The prints in this book were exhibited in Galerie Thurnhof Horn,
Austria, September - November 2003;
Thurnhof Katalog nummer 72
Whereas this book concerns the living in the upperworld,
these prints are about the underworld in which the living and
the dead find themselves to be equals in serving the needs and
the needing in the upperworld.
